I have a 256 cf  that has very little on it and it's not letting me add anymore. The files that are on it are working, ndtxt.nds and some text files music movie. just can't get my computer or a friends comuter to write or read to it.

If the cf have a little switch for "lock protect" like SD ?

If yes, it's probably that.

I got the same problem, when I remove the SD, the switched moved and I couldn't write anymore and was wondering why. Then I saw there was a switch, I moved it and it worked again :)

Hope it'll help you.

I think it had to do with defragging the cf card. I did not mean to but by the time it registered it was to  late. After that it was very slow and had problems.  I just used dos to format it, windows xp would not let me. Maybe it is the card. I have been seeing a lot of people having problems with sandisk, the SD version is working good no problems at all. I will try lexar 128 cf next time for now I still have my supercard for the music too, just not the text editor it was for the cf only

yes, I have the supercard sd and that has happened to me, I just formated the drive using dos. I have been using a homebrew text editor and had been working with a file when the card could not be read with the computer any more now the same thing is happing with the card again I maybe doing to mush at one time in the file. the program is for the gbamp 2.  Be nice to have more programs like that for the supercard, maybe now with the source for sc out.
