A little M3 Lite help

Ok, I'm getting my microsd ready for my M3 lite Perfect that will be showing up tomorrow. And i have a question about the game manager. I know basically everyone uses slot 1's these days, but hopefully someone knows something about the M3.

So, I'm using the latest game manager, which is v35e. And I"m going to be using the M3 only for GBA games.

When I click Write GBA in the game manager, a window pops up with four different tabs. Now, the first tab is labeled Real Time Save. So obviously I know to tick the real time save box to get the rts function.

Now, the second tab is where I become a little confused. The second tab is labeled Rom Patch. I'm asking about this second tab because I want soft reset in the game. So, there are three options in this Rom Patch tab.

The first is Soft Patch
The second is Hardware Support 1
The third is Hardware Support 2

So, Hardware Support 1 is ticked by default. Now, would I tick the Soft Patch option to get soft reset in the game? Or will soft reset get patched to the game because I already ticked the real time save option?

See, this is where I"m so confused about. I'm so used to using the G6 Lite, where every option(soft reset and rts) is clearly labeled.

So if anyone knows about this, I would appreciate some info.

Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind, got the cart today and figured it out myself.
