I wonder if there will be a Supercard II, that has faster memory and updated EMUs?

The memory ugrade would be a nominal cost $2 to $4 and the EMU's are free.  I hope there is one being planned, since it would sell very well and likely take a lot of business from other flash kits, since the slow down and refresh issues are the key problems (affects about 15% of the games).

I agree.  I have over 80 GBA games and 20 GB & GBC games.  Though I bought half of them all used at game stores.

Supercard 2 could be less battery drainer:P

There doesn't really need to be a superCARD 2 right now, but a superPASS 2 would be very helpful for people with new DSs.

Superpass would be cool too.  The reason for the Supercardd II would be mainly to fix the speed and battery issue due to the comparitively power hungry sram.  Having complete compatability and two extra hours of battery is a good thing.  I would by the new one and give the older one to my son.

Speaking of battery. Anyone know which of the supercard and superpass uses the most battery power (I assume supercard) and does removing the superpass after loading the menu save enough battery to make it recommendable?

I heard that its because of the ram and the use of sd/cf media that takes the most toal on power consumption.

As for removing the superpass, it does take up a bit but using flashme and removing the actuall nds cartridge is better as the catrdige itself takes up more power i've heard.

If you have a DS game in your DS when you boot into DS mode, there is power going to the DS slot. That's why if you try and take the DS game out while you are playing, even though you are loading all the data from the GBA slot the DS will crash.

If there is nothing in the DS slot when it boots, no power goes to it and you can put in and take out a game all you want. Not that it does anything.
