Wii Fan issue

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the fan in the back of the Wii is supposed to move when the system is on.. right?

The other day, I was ruining my step-brother in Brawl with my friends. He got super mad (Like the mentally challenged 9 year old he is) And lifted his GC Controller in the air (Told you Wii-motes were better!) And the cord pulled and knocked the system to the ground.

Now, the fan doesn't seem to work. And due to that (this is my theory) when the system gets really REALLY Hot (Which is fairly quickly now...) It just shuts off by itself. It's happened a couple of times, and my theory is that it does it due to the fact that it's SUPER hot and to prevent massive over-heating it just shuts off by itself. Completely. Like. I have to unplug it and re-plug it in to get it to work.

So.. any way I can fix this? Or am I wrong about something? :(

EDIT::::: Problem Solved

My friend opened my Wii and we just hit it really hard. Turns out the fan was actually stuck! Thanks for. well. Thanks.
