dcman, welcome to scdev!

TBH, i am not a big fan of gba games on the SC slot 2 products. I find the save feature annoying....

I am not sure of your level with the supercard patching software, so i will attach a post i made some time ago that can help you out

Here is a pdf file that explains the patching software very well along with all of its features, 5th's_SuperCard_Guide_v1.1. The guide can answer most questions about the patching software, except the cheat and book function, as they were not available when it was written. hope this helps.

There is info on patching gba roms. As i recall, it is just the same as DS games, you drop it in. But you get 3 files instead of 2 (.sci and .sav. and .gba).

Hope this helps.

Oh yeah, make sure your miniSD is formatted to FAT(FAT16) not FAT32. This is important.

Hi oneKelly & thanks for the help mate.

i still have some knowledge about supercards from back in the days when they first comeout i used to use them (1st the cf one then the sd one) i was also one of the very first members to register here but cant remember my user name i think it was between 2005 & 2006.but anyway now i'm back trying to find as much info as i can about dev kits & how things has progressed.DS lite is much nicer than the old tank ds :)

No problem, i agree with your statement. My daughter uses an xrom 512 for gba.

but this may be what you may want Extreme Flash Advance EFA-Linker for GBA/GBA SP (512M) . Check the review at gbatemp.net. The 512 is mbit which = 64 mbyte. It will hold on the average about 6-10 roms depending on size.

If anyone has this unit please post if you like it for gba roms.
