I'm the happy owner of a SC-DSOne, red PCB V1 in a FlashMe'd DS Phat, recently got a SC DSONE SDHC V3 for a friend with a Stock DS Lite, both use 1gb Kingston Jap Micro SD Cards. Both running the latest firmwares.

Has anyone else here noticed that on the New SDHC DS One the initial rom load is Far Quicker! It's almost the same speed as an R4!

Seriously if we're playing multiplayer mariokart the newer card can be in the main menu selecting multiplayer before my old V1 has even started the rom.

I'm not talking from power on, I'm talking from pressing A to boot the Rom, and yes both cards are set to correct memory speed, same patcher settings, defragged and the same rom.....

I guess they made some changes which significantly improved this in the V3, once loaded both play everything the same and I have had no lag issues on my V1 with any game due to decent speed Micro SD.

my v3 scdsone is just as slow as my v1 was it takes between 9 & 13 secs to load a game with a 2gb kington jap

my dstt loads all my games within 2 secs with a 4gb kingston jap
