Is the DSTT loader faster than the SC DS ONE Loader? Is the speed of games with slow flash cards affected with the DSTT loader?

Hi,

Is there a way to hide  "MSFORSC.NDS" file so that it does not show up in the supercard menu?

Cheers

Got mine working a treat, but two little things remain.

As the last poster says, is there a way to hide the file, and is there any way to share the save files?

Would also be great if there was a tutorial somware, to be able to easily keep the files up to date.

Is it hard to hack the DSTT Files to run on the Supercard?

Be great to always have the latest firmware.

Hi,

The dstt menu is so much better then the supercard menu but it does not allow for mulitply save files yet.
I actually want the option to have either supercard or dstt menu but when i do that i get about 4 files that show up in the supercard menu that i wish to hide.
When i have just the dstt menu i have 1 i would like to hide.
Any ideas guys?

Cheers

Hi,

What i would really like is a way to remove the following files:

1/.RESET.NDS
2/.SUPERKEY.NDS
3/.TESTSD.NDS

I have tried to make these files hidden but they still show up.
Anyone got any ideas to fix this?
Also when the sc ds one makes a save file is there a way so it makes the save file name the same as the rom?

Cheers

I would really like to have the option to boot either dstt or supercard menu but with the above files hidden.

Cheers Shane

Please don't bump after only two hours.  This is a forum, not a chat room.  You've also asked the same question multiple times in multiple other topics, which is starting to get kinda annoying to read all the time.  If someone knows the answer, they'll post.

just rename your save so they match your rom & the scdsone, dstt & ysmenu will be able to read them

as far as i know theres no way of hiding the .nds extension on the dstt
if you use YSmenu instead of DSTTmenu it does not show them
YSmenu is not as nice looking as DSTTmenu but it is a much better loader IMHO

I've notice that usind the DSTT loader on the DSOne has made a couple of games either seem faster, or play better.

Animal Crossing (Seems Faster) and Metroid Prime Pinball's sound is definatly better (No crackling at times)

Not tested many more yet.

Will do in time.

Hi Mike,

Yes it is faster and looks gr8 and is very simple.
I think the supercard team should have an option on the ds one "simple menu" with basic features and then "advanced menu" with all features.
The simple menu would be gr8 for children or simple users who just want to play game and not worry about real time save etc.

What memory card do you use?

Mikeypr

I'm using both a 2gig Kingston (Japan) and a 4gig Kinston (Toshiba, class 4)

Hi JMR.

Is there a simple way to hack the DSTT OS for ourselves?

Be Fun to know how it's done.

Can we do it as a newer version appears, or do you know of a dedicated person, (Such as yourself, with Supercard Cheats) who would keep us updated.

maybe just keep an eye on this guys blog & see if he update it anytime  http://bliss.hanirc.org/blog/page/4

hopefully the hacked "MSFORSC.NDS" will keep working for newer builds of the DSTT menu
as when the guy hacked it he was using 1.07 so it should keep working for a while

Thanks For the reply.

Will keep an eye out.

Love the supercard, what you can do with it just gets better.

Take Care, and hope you are fully recovered.
