A new problem which I have just noticed. :ticked:

I can not get TTMenu (assigned as default loader) to launch games, it freezes when it is about to load a game. It only happens if I have YSMenu (assigned to Y button) on the 8GB SDHC as well. YSMenu and Supercard SP3 both are un-affected and work as usual.

Anyone know why that is? I really like YSMenu and same goes for TTMenu but I do not want to get rid of YSMenu to have TTMenu working properly.

Anyone?

its probably a problem with DSTT firmware.. if YSMENU works.. then its probably DSTT ( but why use it?? YSMENU ROOOX )

JMR: You don't trim your roms? Is there any reason why? I'm just curious.

im only playing two games at the moment (zelda - minish cup & the world end with you) & some times i play mario kart at work with one of the lads
the other games are there for testing my dat or testing cheats for my web site then i just delete them
also im using a 4GB card so i would never fill it

dudey

hi guys, sorry about this but we are all new at some point so please excuse the question.

I've got the DSTT menu running from the first page (1.08)

when i load supercard menu it doesnt recognise any saves made by the DSTT menu

DSTT .sav's are direct copies of the game name, whereas the dsone .sav's are abreveted with ~ if too long.

Am i missing something or are the saves not compatible with eachother?

Dudu.exe

you have first play in supercard one ( SC do not like others saves) and the rename the save file to match the rom.. then both will use the same save file!

dudey

ahh ok, so i will have to rename all my current saves and with any new game, play in dsone first then change that save before continuing to use dstt?

Slingshot

It's easier to use dstt or y's for the first run of a rom, that way a save file is created that all loaders recognise.

Or rename roms to a 8.3 format, no spaces, then it doesn't matter which loader initially creates the saves.

Fingers crossed tho that supercard fix the stupid save file naming convention they use, surely not a hard fix ?
