Question about R4DS

Should I sell my SC SD and buy a R4DS? I only use my SC for commercial games, and homebrew that doesn't use the slot-2 ram.

i think the only advantage of upgrading to a slot1 cart is you dont have to patch your roms any more
so if you dont like patching then get a slot1 cart

yes that and being able to use an EZ 3 IN 1

the extra ram is getting more popular with homebrew programming now such as doom/2 optimized to use the ram and opera can use the ram in 3 in 1 oh and dumping originals using slot 1 is easier

I think i'll buy it then, there is a seller in my country that sells the R4 with this packaging:

Is this the official packaging or a clone? There is another seller that has the other packaging, the black and green cardboard box.
Edit: can I use the saves from my SC SD? Do I need to convert them? Thanks.

I haven't seen that package before, it could be a re-release, I doesn't look fake to me.

you might want to check with R4 before buying that because I've never seen the R4 come in that packaging, only in the box form.

ME EITHER blister packs are usually other card makers DSTT the neo version is blister packed like that and a few other lesser cards

all the R4's I have bought for friends and family and thats about 50 have all come in the standard boxed edition thats both v1 and v2 cards

Looks like it has all the items that mine came with but in different packaging, looks like the real thing tho. About changing sav. files from one cart to another use:

I've decided, i'll buy the one with the black and green box. And thanks freezeburn for the save converter. I'll post here when i get it.
