My L button on my Dslite is no longer working, I press it and it does nothing. I haven't droped the Ds Lite so this just came out of nowhere, anyone have any ideas how I can fix it without sending it to big N and paying them $65.00 dollars to have them fix it?

Yes. I had the same problems.

Here are some of the things I tried. Granted, you don't have to follow through everything...

Bang the L side on the bed.
Shake it from place to place.
Use a toothbrush and try to clean the L button side.
Press the L button from various spots on the DS.

Blow the L side on the DS Lite (this surprisingly is what made it work after all my work... :/)

I tried them all. This is no joke.

Well I tried them all with no luck. I'll be sending it back to nintendo to get it fixed 
Edit: I was about to send my DS to Nintendo for repairs when I decided to try the one thing that I thougth wouldn't work, I blew on the L side of the DS and that actually fixed it . Thanks for the help Liquid, u saved me some cash on this.
