Does the IOS37 stop the current mod chips from playing backups? Does it most likely to stop the truck signer, or other?

As far as I know it just stops Trucha and will stop freeloader. And the Mario Kart Wii EUR dump that was released today doesn't use IOS37, it uses IOS36lol.

i think it may also stop the homebrew channel exploit

Hi

From what I understand about IOS37 (which is quite a fair amount, I've been reading a LOT about the wii lately) ,the only thing it will effect will be the region-free-loader-thing, the homebrew channel(s), and hacked virtual console roms. It won't effect modchips at all, or the zelda chainloder.

The only thing that will stop working (or for that matter, be effected in anyway whatsoever) will be anything related to hacked wii channels.

It wont affect the Twilight hack which means it won't affect any homebrew or illegal VC games. It will stop disc that have been altered with Trucha's tool and channels like the homebrew channel that uses Trucha's code, and it will also affect the Datel Freeloader.

Again just because it will stop the homebrew channel (for now), it WILL NOT stop the Twilight hack which means homebrew will still be going strong on the Wii. You can read all about IOS 37 here:
