I can't get a gamepad to work with this. I have my XboX360 controller plugged in but I can't figure out how to choose it in list of options in controller config. Anyone have any luck getting a controller to work with this?

you just go into the config and press the corresponding buttons on your xbox 360 controller.  Theres more than 1 controller option for the emulator depending on the game so the controls will be the same for the same buttons on each type of controller(playstation one in the emulator) and you just add the rest.  Theres no thing that says the 360 controller is connecting you just have to input into the config and it will work, thats what I did.  Hope this isn't too confusing.

I tried that. When I click on the diagram buttons they don't change or allow me to add my own input.

Well that allowed me to mao my controller, but when I go to start the emu I get a black screen and in the top right corner there is a white box that says "Analog" and then a little red box thats says "Off" and the number 1 in the bottom left corner of the white box?

did you try it again? I got that once and didn't after that, I really don't know what to tell you.  The analog has a picture of the controller type I think but the red thing i dunno.
