GB media player on SC SD?

I'm not heavily interested in media playback on my SC since I have a perfectly good laptop for long travels... but I did want to see if I could get it working on my DS just to see. I put the media player on my SD card and loaded it up on my SC, but it says it can't find a CF card to read from. Is there a seperate version of this program for SD? Or have I just done something wrong?

I want to know what's up with this too. I would like to get music going on my SC SD, but need a working copy of the mediaplayer to do so. Can't seem to find one that won't give me the no CF card message when I try to run it.

Anyone?

Well, this isn't too big of an issue for me anymore since I have a DS and there is a hacked version of moonshell (which supports regular MP3 files)

Yeah, get the hacked moonshell. Its awesome for mp3s  8)

I have a DS, and I really like it, but I don't think I'll be lugging it around in my pocket just to listen to mp3's. I was hoping I could use the supercard with my gbam to carry some music around with a few games all in one cart and one small player.

But if a mediaplayer doesn't surface soon, I guess I'll start playing around with moonshell.

Don't I need a superpass or passme to run moonshell on my DS? I don't really want to flash it, since I want to play some of the real wifi enabled games that will be coming out soon. I only want to use the Supercard for media file stuff, really.

Loopy has already stated he'll be releasing an updated firmware as soon as he can. That should fully support wifi games (you will need to buy the actual games to play them online as they have the codes you need)

Goto the Chinese website and get the SD modified player. Your using the CF version.

trickypuss

Uh, Chinese website....

Can you be a little more specific than that? Like, maybe a url, for instance? I would be very grateful.

DeVS

On the main site it says English and Chinese, click Chinese: http://www.supercard.cn/chn/index.htm

Bummer. The links are all down. Thanks for the url though. Guess I'll check back on it sometime later if the links come up.

Not really looking for moonshell in this thread. I was looking for the SD enabled mediaplayer. I think the moonshell dl's work fine.
