I bought a 512Mo Hi-Speed 80x Bytestor SD to limit slowdowns with nds games but the card is not recognized by the supercard, wheras my slow Kingston 256Mo works anyone with a solution?

hi speed cards have zero proven improvement on the super card which has a limited read speed. What you want is a card with higher access speeds.

Also, a lot of lesser name brands just don't work with super card.

I managed to get the card working: i had to put some paper on the outer side of the sd so that inside the ds it is pushed a little more in the supercard. And now it works and Hi speed is really something: I write about 15 times faster on it from my pc, and some games (NFS Most wanted, Tony Hawk and some more) are faster to load, some doesn't hangs anymore...

So Hi-Speed is great (and sd connector on supercard sucks :p )

Odd, I have a myflash 80x which works fine in the supercard, but as far as I can tell the SD port is limited by the mode its used in... since the hi-speed card does not improve performance as far as I have seen.

It could be possible the Noda's original SD card was slower than the Supercards maximum data throughput?

Yeah.. SD or CF speed dont affect the Supercard Speed load.. but the SD/CF quality does!

Both my corsair and toshiba work really really well

go for Lexar brand is top quality & according to some reviews the basic Lexar performs like some of the Ultra speed brands.
