The last time i tryed to use my Supercard the Battery of my NDS was emty. After turnig on my NDS it switched off by itself.
I Tried 2 or 3 Times and then realized that the Battery was emty.

After recharging the Supercard did not find the CF-Card anymore.

My PC does not find my CF-Card.

Im unable to format the CF-Card in any way.

A Harddisk testing program reports defectice sectors on the CF-Card.

So i Think its damaged.

I Dont know if it was coincidence.

Did anyona had the same problem or is anyona haveing an idea what happened here.

Can i Fix the CF ir is it gone?

Thanks very much!

you could try and run checkdisk to fix your errors from cmd and then use a cmd format:

To run Chkdsk at the command prompt:

1.  Click Start, and then Run.
2.  In Open, type cmd, and then press ENTER.
3.  Use one of the following procedures:

To run Chkdsk in read-only mode, at the command prompt, type chkdsk, and then
press ENTER.
To repair errors without scanning the volume for bad sectors, at the command prompt,
type chkdsk volume:/f, and then press ENTER

(replace F with your drive letter)

To run Format at the command prompt:
1.  Click Start, and then Run.
2.  In Open, type cmd, and then press ENTER.
3.  Use one of the following procedures:
To run Format, at the command prompt, type ‘format %driveletter%: /fs:fat’, and then
press  ENTER.  This  will  start  the  format  process  and  command  will  display  a
formatting percentage and notify you when the job is complete. Check the drive
properties to ensure File system format all went according to plan!
Note: Replace %driveletter%: with your media cards drive letter i.e. for my PC I
would type ‘format R: /fs:fat’ and press ENTER.

Checkdisk does not work, takes long time then says something like IO-Error.

Format does the same!

Seems that the CF is really damaged, the only thing im not 100% sure is if this was caused by the Supercard.

bye!

I had the same problem with a CF card that I used for the Movie Player 2, I thought it was the homebrews that I was using on it (textwriter) that was when my CF card started to have problems, it maybe just a coincidence but I have stopped using the homebrews that write to your card have not had any problems since.
