I just bought my Nintendo DS with Mario Kart included. I also bought a Supercard SD with Superpass. And I've come to understand that not all games may be used to load the Supercard. So my question is if I can use the Mario Kart (European version) to load? Is there a list of which games that works and doesn't?

yes I have used it before,  for Nintendogs
Supercard SD, Sandisk 2 GB, AData  256 MB
Supercard One - 512MB Transcend
Pink DSL with flashme v8a Org-FW  haven't checked

Yup it works. so far the only one that i tested that doesn't work is Super Mario 64 (US), even this works with SuperPass just not FlashMe.

Other game carts I've successfully booted with are :

Kirby Canvas Curse
Tony Hawk American Sk8land
Wario Touched
Nintendogs Dashund and Friends
Mario Kart DS
nimal Crossing :
Larson" from "Havenile" of Zip code "0816-6534-7899".
Mario Kart DS : 519750-640786 (Larson)
Tony Hawk : 137499-350825 (Larson)

PM me if you added me!

The only card that has been known to cause a lot of problems is mario 64. Luckily, for the most part you don't even need boot cards anymore.

Thanks guys. Just gotta wait for the SD-card now then :)

won't that destroy your Mario Kart records, unlockables and friends-list if your game on SC tries to save to the DS cartridge?

That's why you use Rain to back up the save and always set games to SD save.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

You're honestly backing up your save after every game played?
Added to that, some games won't save on SD/CF (Band Bros for example).

I think the latest firmware/patcher you CAN save to SD card for band brothers already!

Not after every game, but I am doing it regularly.

It's not hard... or a long progress to backup saves... Literally it takes 10 seconds tops.

Fewer and fewer games require SD/CF save... in fact, I can't think of a single one right now that still needs it with the latest software. Most games don't even require you have a game in the DS slot anymore.
