does the patch work with WFC or just for DS 2 DS, do the other people need to have a patched rom, and if this does work on WFC wouldn't  nintendo  see that on the server logs.... get your ip..... and... you know, come to your house see that you legally bought mk ds and say thank you?

I legally own my cartridge, i cant think wtf they where thinking by locking us out of courses like that, i stopped playing because most of my favs where not online compat, but now with this patch i can play them all.!!!

The reason that they didnt put the courses on is because they have too many moving things like tick tock clock, it would freeze on some slower roughters or something.

This patch works over wifi. It will ramdomly choose a course like it normally does, so the course you choose may not be picked right away.  The other players do not need the patch for it to work.  They will be able to play the level too if it gets chosen.
