Japanese model DS: flashme, OK?

Hey guys

Just wondering if anyone could tell me: I live in Japan and want to flash my friend's Japanese model NDS using my Superpass2+Supercard SD - but he wants to keep Japanese menus, etc - can I do this with flashme v6? If I use flashme on his DS, will he still be able to use Japanese menus, etc?

When you flash the DS the langauge will default to english. However, you can very easily change the language back to japanese.
