Pokemon Colosseum

Hello, I have recently purchased my supercard and I am very happy with its performance so far.  However, I have a slight problem.

I want to link my Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire games on my supercard to my Gamecube.  Unfortunately the Gamecube does not want to recognise the fact that the gameboy is indeed connected and running the game. It comes back with an error message suggesting that the GBA needs to be reset.

I have linked up to my Gamecube with other games (Lord of the Rings:The Return of The King, and one of the Harry Potter games)

Can anyone shed some light on this problem?? Your help would be much appreciated!

Forgive my ignorance, as I don't know how the connectivity between the GBA and GC works, but can you keep the GC running the game, but power off the GBA, then reload the GBA Pokemon game?  Or can you have the GBA powered up, with the Pokemon game already loaded, then turn the GC on?

Have you tried any of the patches located here?

Well, I guess it can work either way.  But if the connection doesn't get accepted, it asks you to reset the GBA.
I haven't tried the patches, as I am running the European version of the game and there are only USA patches available.  I tried GBATA to patch to fix the clock, but it still would not connect.

So, any more ideas??

Ok, I've been experimenting with ways of connecting these together and had no luck whatsoever.  I have looked on other forums and they were less than helpful. The best suggestion was that the patch changed the save type and corrupted it so the gamecube couldn't read it.  This does seem perfectly logical, however, I am sure there will be a way around this.. If anyone can help, I would gladly recieve any ideas, suggestions, or even confirmation that it can't be done!!!

I'm in the same situation but look at this.

let's say you want to trade pokemon between colosseum and ruby/sapphire. if you put colosseum to trade and select ruby/sapphire on the supercard and wait for it to load you will see that when it fully loads the rom, it will act as if you has powered on the gba with a pokemon cart in it. only problem is that it's says "connection failed" and I think that it's due to the saves in pokemon on the supercard are corrupt, because at least for now the supercard does not support >64K saves(pokemon are 128K).

I sure do hope that the new firmware updates take care of that.
