yes yes i know, another moron needs help :/

anyway, i have installed flashme no problem, and am using the latest firmware & patching software. gba games work perfectly, but no luck with ds games. what i get after pressing A is a loading screen with a suspiciously small file being loaded up (eg 1523k) and then the double white screens of death.  i've obviously forgotten something, but what?

Hmm, not sure.  Don't worry about the small size.  If, while patching, you set 'ROM Position Patch' to SD or CF card, it should only load a ~1.5mb file.

It's hard to tell what is going on... Does this happen with various roms?  Try some others.

Did you download the right patching software?  Experiment with patching options (disable 'enable restart' and / or 'faster play game')...

One thing you can attempt is to set ROM Position Patch to Super Card... It will take much longer at the initial load, but may work.

Also, maybe try different media.

thanks for the quick replies!

i fiddled around with the patching properties (i unticked all the boxes) and just got the first one to work. much appreciated Socket!
