I want a decent pinball game for the DS, being a girlie Metriod Pinball does not appeal, I want something along the lines of Pinball Dreams for the amiga. Simple but addictive gaming with simple controls like the L + R buttons for the flippers and the Down button for the release. Does anyone know of any game like this on eth horizon or anything homebrew wise?

Scor

Hey you're a girlie, I'll look into it :).
I don't think there is one yet.....

Psycho pinball is available on genesis/megadrive and is an excellent game, i have not however, tried it in the emu to see if it works.  well worth a try as i think in many ways it outshines dreams and even fantasies

Wishmaster

Not on the DS, though Mario Pinball Land on the GBA is excellent!

You take that back and you take that back NOW

No, I think Miggs is referring to Wishmaster's comment that Mario Pinball Land was excellent.  Tolerable, maybe, but far from excellent.

Samus is a girl, so stick with the Metroid 8)

Yes, we must work to forget the abonimation to pinball that is Mario Pinball Land.

Wishmaster

Abonimation?

We must not forget that 'Pinball' began as a game with no flippers (source: Microsoft Pinball Arcade) to what it is today, there were several generations of improvements to tables and flippers. AND I want to see what technology today can do to this mechanical game.

I like what Mario Pinball Land did to pinball. It adds adventure and opens up pinball to a new form of game play. I'll like to see what future developers can add to the game of pinball with the technology we have today. Touchscreen.. microphone..

I have been into pinball since the days when pinball dreams and fantasies were running on DOS on my 286, and I think MPL is a great new concept for the game, and it's grrly too.

My words stay.

thaddius

Pinball of the DEAD!!!! for GBA.

q_armando

Why not gram some nes emulator or GBmono emulator and play the likes of Kirby Pinball dream or revenge of the Ghator (however is it spelled)!
Those were surely simple and addictive little games!

Altor

Samus is a girl.  She's hot too.  Don't you want to be hot like Samus?

Wishmaster

Flipper Critters

Haven't played it, though the screen shots looks good!
