SuperCard Freezing Up

I have been having a problem recently with my supercard. Sometimes when playing games through the supercard, the game will freeze up and I'll have to restart the system. Other times, games won't load properly. The counter where it says X kb/ X kb will continue to rise on the load screen and i'll once again have to restart. The problem is pretty rampant across all games on my SD card. I have the lastest software patcher, and I believe the most up to date firmware for flashme on. I cannot however upgrade the supercard firmware (when i run the .bin file, it loads the gameboy logo and nothing happens).

If anyone has any advice or can help me solve this problem, that would be much appreciated.

by any chance, do you happend to be using a  standard sd card, because you need a high speed sd card like 60x and up to avoide these kind of problems.
also, try backing up evrything and reformatting your sd card.

Hmmm, i'm not too sure about my SD card speed. I will check really quickly. Aside from that, I've already reformateed my sd card. But thanks for the tip

That's a bit like the problem I'm having, except I'm using CF, and the sudden freezing only happens in 1 game [that I've seen], Animal Crossing. It's really weird.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

I believe it is just a regular SD card. No listing of speed on the official website or any retailers (i don't have the box). It is an SD problem, as the self test gives me an error when it tests for SDRAM. No chance of fixing the problem other than buying another SD?

in that case, use this software to run a error test on your sd card, its called hd_tune, just select the drive off your sd acrd.

if you see red blocks then im sorry but your kind of screw and you will need a new sd card. ireccomend you look on www.newegg.com  and www.amazon.com  for a highspeed sd card.

Thanks for the program. Doesn't look like the SD card is the problem (all green bars). My friend is using the exact same SD card as mine (came in a pack of 2), and his is working fine. Maybe I should reflash the DS lite? or is it possibly a SuperCard problem (firmware is up to date).

reupdate the firmware on the supercard, check that you have insterted the supercard all the way in, firmly, is your sd loose? if so, but some paper on the top to wedge it in, i seem to remember it loading to like 99999kb once, try transferring all the converted files from ur firends sd to yours, or repatching them,

sorry if this doesnt help!
