hi there guys well im planning to purchase a Superkey and a Super Card SD soon.

but im quite curious about the flash me thing? whats the advantage of flashing your DS's Firmware?

Have you encountered major problems with your Super Card? is it worth while to buy a Super Card? a

and right now i have a unflashed DS lite, and i dont plan to install Homebrew apps, i just want to install commercial games. do i still need to flash my DS ? and how can avoid the running malware infested files and was there malware infested roms can brick your DS lite ? did it exist?

flashme is a firmware to replace the nintendo ds firmware, that way you dont have to use anymore superpass o superkeys. but in your case its not necessary since the superkey fits in perfectly, just use that instead.

the advantage of having flashme is, that if by any chance your ds gets brick, like sort of a virus, you can recover from it. some hombrew made by darkfader would brick your ds, but i havent seen any latley.

i really havent encountered any problems with the supercard, i love it. i really want the supercard lite in hopes of better or perfect gba speed. the supercard is good, i recommend you go for the supercard minisd and get a high-speed SD card, minimum 60x. that way you wont have slowdowns in DS roms. but gba games have slowdowns because they load into the supercards intenal memory and it sucks.

last, hombrew applications work wethere you have a flash ds or not. NO, we havent seen any brickers ATM.

I was afraid to flash my DSL too but you know what, it was super easy.  Just make sure you have the lastest version of the firmware, v7 from gbatemp.net.  It was way to simple.  

The SC SD is great.  I used it for GBASP/micro for the longest time before getting a DSL.

where do you guys download your DS roms, well as of now i found lots of DS roms in [ A SHOP ]  has anyone tried downloading there and are they bricker free?

and will there still be a way for you to revive your DS when it gotted bricked

baiken122:  discussing where you get roms is not to be done on these boards. There hasn't been any roms uncovered containing the bricker as yet and its unlikely there ever will be. To recover from a bricker you'd use the flashme recovery code: ( from the flashme website )
