How does battery life compare with SC running GBA versus SC running DS?

For instance, Mario Kart DS versus Castlevania AoS?  Or whatever.  I'd imagine it would be at least double, since there's only one CPU being used, and it's the less-powerful one.

Have any comparisons been done?  If not, do you have any personal experience and/or guesstimates?

I'd say GBA games get close to double battery speed.

But really, it's totally game dependent. Factors like sound, GFX, WIFI, dual screen usage etc make DS games hard to compare, let alone DS to GBA.
