Perhaps he has contacts at a store and got one?

sneef

here.  whatever dude.. that was pretty insulting

[edit] tried to host image with the built in hosting, couldn't get it to work. uploading to imageshack[/edit]

sneef

sorry bout the quality.  taken with my mobile and quickly resized.  this one has scdev on the screen in the background, but obviously that didnt show up too well. lol

[edit] Just to let you know, the local distributor helped me out because I'm a very loyal customer, and have bought a lot of stuff from him.  He let me have mine early, even though romman asked him to launch on friday only.  not that I owe anyone an explanation. :) [/edit]

Don't think twice about it Sneef, you don't need to prove anything to anyone here, lol. Your one of the most trust worthy members here, so take that comment with a grain of salt.

my scummvm games aren't working!!! one of the main reasons I got the supercard lite was for my homebrew..

I already have g6Lite for regular games.  darn.

anyone know why it may not be working?  I just copied the same exact files that I had already compiled for supercard miniSD and normal SD.

that's bad to hear

have you tried Moonshell or DSOrganize? the main reason I'm getting teh SC Lite instead of the G6 Lite is the capacity to read/write on the card, something not possible on G6 Lite, I guess. since it uses the same firmware as SC SD/miniSD, everything should work out just fine...

regarding the card speed, would a Sandisk Ultra II do the job? like playing Animal Crossing with no slowdown, Castlevania intro ok, etc? there's a video that shows the Castlevania intro playing just fine on the SC Lite, don't know if that was running on the SC, though.

and please, test some GBA roms that used to be slow to see if there were any improvement, people want to know this so hardly, lol.

yumms

So how hard is it to take out the micro sd? Does the color perfectly match the DS, seems a bit off from the pic above.

Oh and is the gui same as the older supercards?

Dudu.exe

I Want a lite.. later a i want one of these!

That really sucks about scummvm....... I hope there's not another whole set of compatibility for dev's to deal with... :-/

kennyboy

oh well. since there isn't navy blue available now i'll guess i'll hold out for now.

Heh...i know the same local distributor pretty well too....but maybe i have too many flash carts at home already...1 sc mini/1 sc sd/1 ez4l.

Its painful to the wallet....must stop buying.....

Hey sneef nice catch! I have one question (other than the GBA compatibility that was already asked), is it HARD to take out the microSD from the cart, with or without it being in the DS Lite? Thats one of my biggest gripes of the EZ4 Lite.

Apologies about earlier sneef.  I convinced myself that you were faking because it seemed you were/are ignoring the question about gba speed. I guess have to wait to find out.
Yes I'm mad

Well, looks like I'm just gonna stick with my Mini SD

For pete's sake couldn't they put that sticker along a seam on the side of the thing instead of right on the outward face? The sticker looks bad enough on my SCmini, but on the SCLite that's obscene.

well, the physical design rocks. They did what EZTeam wasn't able to do, so yay go Supercard! and all that. I love my SCmini and I'll probably end up getting one of these too. But looks like the whole "high speed" thing got tooted up a bit much?

rocky

your right that sticker is ugly the first thing im going to do is pull it off.  I dont realy care about gba but homebrew I do especialy moonshell it better work

satanduck

I think the sticker is an indication of when the cart is manufactured and is sort of there to make sure if a cart is sent back it wasn't taken apart first...

Though it is damn ugly
