I'm trying to get NESDS to run just for kicks tonite, and I'm not having much luck. I've gone through the process of loading a list of clean .nes files, run nsdes.exe, and make the ds.gba file. I then rename it to .nds, and put it on the SC. WHen I run it, NESDS loads, but says "No ROMS found" .... what am I missing??

edit: I'm on SCminiSD.

ok, never mind I guess. I just made a copy of nesds.bin from the nesds package, renamed it to nesds.nds, and cpied it to the miniSD along with clean .nes files. Works.

Is there any way to get the SC's in-game "reset to main SC menu" patch working on this? Wishful thinking? It sux you can't even reset to the NESDS menu.

I thought the Supercard had a built in nes emulator.
hite DS lite

well, I've only had my Supercard for about 2 weeks, but I'm plenty familiar with pocketnes. Used it for a long time on EFA Linker on GBA. NESDS doesn't allow saving (for now), and pocketNES does. There are some games like Zelda and Kirby that need the ability to SRAM save, but most NES games didn't save at all. So, in pocketNES you use save states. But this is pretty much cheating, or at least that's what it usually turns into for me. It's nice to see what level 47 looks like on Galaga, but I am cheating in order to get there.

NESDS uses the whole NES screen, and doesn't scale the picture so much. It also allows in-game rewind, so there's my cheating capability if I want ... just have to do it at one sitting. Besides, I just wanted to check it out and have it available. The fullscreen display kicks butt.
