i found this on the web, http://www.oempcworld.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=microSD1024&Category_Code=]
so if a microsd sandisk ultra II is 60x and the tranfer rate is 9Mbps, what makes this 12.5Mbps, maybe a 83X or something.

ATP make a 80X microSD card but only up to 512MB @ usamemory.net

Kingmax also claim their 512Mb microsd is 80X

http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=42MX&CategorySelectedId=11151&NavigationKey=11151,50316&v=2#

I also found a dogey looking ebay auction for a PNY 512Mb microsd stating "Very high performance at Read Speed more than 22.5MB/s and Write Speed more than 15MB/s"

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120012570349

that seems ridiculus but it looks like it might have been copied directly from the PNY website (although I couldnt find it myself). Who knows, it could be the fastest one available.

I'm thinking of getting a Kingmax one just to try it out for when I get my SCLite.

Yes KingMAX is great memory and does say on their page that the card is 80X but only up to 512MB! I was hoping for 1GB at least!

http://www.kingmaxdigi.com/product/MicroSD.htm

PNY on the other hand is crap and doesn't even have microSD/transflash on their site. The higest SD card and miniSD speed they have is 60X.

The KingMAX is just as good as ATP but when will be see 80X speeds in 1GB? At that rate you might as well buy a G6 Lite and wait until things change for the microSD in a few months.

My thought was to carry 2 microSD cards around with me, one 1gb normal sandisk with all games that arnt affected by slowdown, and a 512mb with the ones that are. I know there arnt really that many so far but with FF3 and phantom hourglass coming out later in the year it might be worth it to make sure theres no dissapointment.
