I don't feel "ripped off".
The service was excellent, Chris is very helpful and the price includes 1st class delivery, i received mine the day after i ordered. See if you can beat that in america, without paying $30 shipping cost on top of the supercard lite price.

For sparky930, the micro sd card i was using is the kingmax 512MB (no slowdowns) my supercard lite did have problems reading the card, i don't think it was the micro sd card, but the quality of the supercard workmanship. If i pressed at the back of the supercard lite, where the micro sd goes in, it would read the card perfectly.

I took the supercard lite apart to try and see if i could fix it and i "fixed it" real good. Now it won't work at all. :(
If anybody wants to open their supercard lite, be carefull, don't pull it completely apart as it can break the ribbon that connects the supercard lite to the  micro sd slot.

Oh well, it was good while it lasted!
If anybody wants a broken supercard lite, let me know.
Time to get a G6 lite.

If anybody in the uk wants a Kingmax 512MB micro Sd card, they can have it delivered for £10.

If I can have it free I will lol, don't you just need a new cable to connect them like a really tiny ide cable lol

Yes you're right, that's all it is a tiny IDE cable, each end needs to be soldered to each side of the supercard lite.
If you really want it, you can have it for nothing. :)

if you seriously want to off load it i'd gladly pay you a bit of blighty best. sucks about the supercard lite :( i'll make a note not to open mine when i get it next week.

ShaolinChicken

Yes i'm looking to offload it, don't need it now.
PM me if you like and we can sort something out. Today was the first and last day that i used it, so it is new.
Moral of the story, not to mess with things i know nothing about.

Yeah this SuperCard Lite is really a joke! Its basically not an improvement in any way to the old SuperCards other then being smaller. Why couldn't they fix GBA support? Why couldn't they have at least included 1 or two extra colors?

FifthElement all you do is complain. M3 Adapter had good GBA compatablity from the start. It was never improved. Same with EZ Flash, and Supercard. You cant 'improve' it. Unless you improve the hardware, which would make it more expensive. Supercard Lite is meant for Nintendo DS. Meaning Nintendo DS GAMES. Not GBA games. Thats why no Flash Cart after DS came out has 100% GBA compatablity. But all GBa Flash carts do. There is a difference. And how is supercard lite a joke? It runs everything i throw at is fine with a cheap 45X 1 gig Scandisk Card. Even the castlevania video. Stop spreading around bad info.

If you're that serious about GBA support, why don't you just get a dedicated GBA cart? They have perfect compatibility and are cheap.

Supercard Lite is in no way a joke. It works perfectly for what it is, a cart made specifically for the Lite. It runs DS games better than previous Supercards. The GBA is the same, but who cares? It's not a GBA cart. It's a DS cart with the added bonus of GBA support.

Again, if you want perfect GBA, Supercard isn't for you. That's not what it's made for. It's a DS cart. And it does DS as good or better than any cart out there, especially with the improvements of the Lite version.

i've supported you before fifthe1ement in a lot of stuff, but this time your just wrong. The supercard is a wonderful product and a gba speed isen't  that bad. if you read about people who have m3's and g6(lite) they are always fucking complaining about how it corrupts there data or save files. So you see, nothing is perfect and actually the supercard is the best card for playing NDS roms. Also the saving system is simple and everything else is  simple to do, and simple=easy. so please do us all a favor and stop complaining, if you dont like it good for you, you dont have to buy it. keep it your complains to yourself.

not only that, but it IS an improvement over the regular supercard.  It runs things a lot smoother.

I didn't mean it in the sense that its not a good product because it is. I, and 99% of you, were hoping it would have been more then just good. I wouldn't trade my SuperCard miniSD for an M3 ever. I just think there is so much more they could have done to make the Lite version better. They could have added faster ram, added colors and a DS Phat case, and a new graphical touch screen interface. That would have made it the ultimate SuperCard!

And I hate when people throw out that its not a GBA cart. Well they need to stop selling that as GBA support is horrible. Every game I have tried has slowdown and fading. I don't play a lot og GBA games but they could have tried to make it work better with the Lite version.

And the SuperCard Lite is an improvement but only in the sense that they made it fit flush in the DS Lite. Other then that it runs like the SuperCard miniSD/SD version. With my SuperCard miniSD and ATP 150X 2GB miniSD all games even Animal Crossing and the Castlevania movie run flawless. So the only thing they really improved upon is being able to have less slowdown with the slower microSD cards. I mean some of you have to have been disappointed to learn GBA still sucks and its only in one color?!

I have the Supercard mini, G6 Flash 4G & 1 (old), GBAMP v2 CF, M3 SD (new) and F2A, if needed I would replace all my cards but the M3, I have a F2A for my GBA's so the DS games are what the Supercard is for and homebrews. I would like to get the new SCL but it will have to wait. As for the color No I only care if it sticks out or works.

well just to repeat what I said in some other post:
The superCard's are still being advertised as
"1.Lowest price of the GBA backup system in the world."
In the product description section of the site and should probably be changed. (although any product blurb from HK/China should probably be ignored! )
However even if they did edit this I don’t think it would change the way people felt about GBA support.

"I, and 99% of you, were hoping it would have been more then just good. "
I think therein lies the problem. Expectation often only leads to disappointment. Try and be a little realistic and realise that given that they are a business they are going maximize profits over perfection.
I guess there are always going to be compromises due to cost, time and materials with any product and nothing is every going to fulfil our every desires (well....apart from maybe the Wii  :D )

"And the SuperCard Lite is an improvement but only in the sense that they made it fit flush in the DS Lite...and being able to have less slowdown with the slower microSD cards."

Sounds like two improvements over the previous SuperCards to me, improvements that probably took a lot of time and work so calling it a joke was probably a bit harsh and ungrateful.

I'm guessing the other coloured cases will be coming along soon.

FifthE1ement - Why are you even on these forums. You do realise it's a Supercard forum right? First you tell everyone they need an 80x card or it will lag terribly and then you go on saying it's a crap backup solution. It is an NDS cart and it does what it's meant to at a low price.

lenselijer

when you use supercard for nds backups only its a perfect card :D
