Can you save more that one save file with each game? As i cant figure out how, everytime i do a realtime or standard save, it overwrites the previous save

Diablo

At a time? No.

Each ROM has one .sav file associated with it.  Now, whether that save file can hold more than one save depends on the game (some games have multiple save slots to save in, all of which are stored in the single .sav file).

However, you can copy a .sav file from your CF card to your hard drive, essentially backing up the save to your HD.  You can then proceed to use that save file to continue playing, copy a fresh .sav file to start anew, or copy a downloaded/emulator save file from your HD to the CF and play using that one.

You may be able to save using multiple .sav files if you use the QPC method to save.  You could select one of the .sav files that does not share the same name as the ROM you are playing as the one to save to.  However, if that does successfully save the data, you may only load it if you rename the .sav to the same name as the ROM.

Confusing enough for you?  I really don't even know what I'm saying anymore. :D

So, basically, one loadable save per game at any given time.
