Quote from: "socket"I downloaded mine from the DSOrganize homebrew database and it ran fine.  Saving didnt work, but it ran... It's really quite impressive.

and was this on your sc mini or sc lite?

(might go back to my sc sd just for the sake of playing punchout...)

follow usual procedure for running NESDS.

I'm sorry. What is the "usual procedure" for running on a supercard sd?

Step by step would be nice. I'm hearing about all the benefits over the built-in emulator and I really want to try this thing out. Thanks for any help.

Run NesDS.nds.

Browse for games on the bottom screen.  Pick one.  Play it.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but it's really straightforward.

I got it working.. plays fine..  mike tyson's punch out only game that I am sad about... top of screen is so garbled i cant see the power bars...  any fix?

and my main problem.. cant get saves to work after i power off... i can save state... then click on load..  it will load right back to where i just saved it.. but if i power off then power on again even real quickly...  and load same game and click load state.. it just loads the start screen again.. just like a reset button..  does this for everygame.... any ideas?   :(

Actually no it isn't. You guy must be doing something, that I am not.

Here are the methods I've tried:(I have a SC SD with firm v1.63b)

1st try: Rename the nesDS.bin to .nds and place in folder with my nes roms(the nesDs.bin come from the nesDS-WIP1.zip found at the MaxConsole link someone posted here)
2nd try: Run make_nds.bat that comes with nesDS-WIP1.zip. Select all my roms. A .nds and a .ds.gba file is created. I place the .nds file on my supercard.
3rd try: Same as first method, except I run DSlazy and select ndsloader
and save the .nds file, placing it on my supercard afterward.
4th try: Same as second method, except I run DSlazy and select ndsloader and save the .nds file, placing it on my supercard afterward.

The first method results in a black screen with a white bar at the top. Some text on the screen reads, "No ROMs found."
All other methods result in two white screens.
I have 62 .nes ROM files in the directory where the resulting .nds file is placed.

You can see why I am confused and frustrated.

you used a .bat to patch them? patching is not needed, you open nesds up and select a *.nes*

well yoshi.. you are doing it right from step one..  thats how it works for me...   i rename the nesds.bin to nesds.nds.. i got the .bin file from the same one you got nesDS-WIP1.zip      when i run the nesds.nds it works right away.. top screen black, lower screen has me in the folder that i am running nesds.nds from. then i just browse to file the .nes games and it works.. only difference between me and you is I am a SC lite while you are SC SD.. is the hardware that different from the two of us considering we are both using SD cards?  considering though mine is micro SD..  I just cant get the saves to work after powering down or even loading another rom....   :?

Does this work on SCLite rumble? I've tried everything I can think of, but can't get anything but white screens.

Any chance someone has an alternate download link for it? craig588's link on rapeforums seems to be down and im itching to try this out.
