I was just uploading a bunch of games onto my mini sd when I found a bunch of games that say 0kb.  Which patcher is the best to avoid all this?  I got the newest one...

The newest one is the best. Which game gave you a 0kb except the new Fox and maybe one other?

a bunch of homebrew stuff like beup and wolfenstein

You don't patch hombrew with the sc patcher use dsbuild.  Drag and drop the file onto dsbuild, and then rename the file that is created to .nds
Dsbuild is included in moonshell package
Although some hombrew come already to be put onto the supercard, so try and just put it on the sc first and if that doesn't work then use dsbuild.

Ok open the archive and extract the dsbuild folder, and then open the folder once extraction is complete.  You will see dsbuild.  Take your hombrew file and drop it onto the dsbuild icon.  A new file will be created, but it is a .gba file and the sc needs it to be .nds
so rename the file.

Quote from: "PharaohsVizier"where does the file go to?
what do you mean?

I dragged my .nds file to the dsbuild.exe, then it says something like applying patcher, and then where does the new file appear?

the hombrew file that you want to add the loader to, put in the folder with dsbuild, and then drag and drop it onto dsbuild and it will create a new file in that folder.  It will have the same name except .gba extension added to it

Now if you cant see the extensions you will need to open up a folder and go into the tools menu and select folder options and then click the view tab and then scroll down and look for hide extensions for known file types, make sure that is unchecked and then click apply, and then click the hombrew file that was created from dsbuild and add a .nds on the end of it, and a message will pop up about changing the file type, just select ok.

Let me now if you get it working on your supercard

And save that dsbuild exe,  it comes in handy if the hombrew creater doesn't add multiable formats for different flash carts.

All dsbuild does is add a loader to the file. It is just mainly used for hombrew. It used to be included in moonshell packs, but I didn't see it in the latest pack
