well, when i try to use the .scu (the english one from l33t.spod.org, or the chinese one from supercard.cn) all i get is garbled text.. hmm..

I got the exact same thing too, pulled out the sd card a few time then the upgrade text displayed fine for some reason.

"MoonShell Reset for SC"

On my SC when I launch moonShell and do the L+R XYAB combo to reset my DS it doesn't and restart moonshell instead. I think 1.63 fixes this issue.

Maybe it lets you reset back to the SC menu from Moonshell?

Yes in fact I ran moonshell and then if you go over th nds file and press a it takes you back to the sc menu
