I just got my mini SD from emoo55 and I get the SD error when I stick in my mini SD cards.  what does this exactly mean?  I have opened it up and all the pins are touching.  I have tried my sandisk mini 1gb and my sandisk 1gb micro SD in it and neither work.  so how do I fix it?

Think the Supercard is dead. Had one do the same thing, tried multiple mini sd cards and got the same error for all. Sent it back and got a new Supercard Mini and it worked just fine with my mini SD cards. Sorry to say but I would bet it all that the Supercard you have is no good.

So is their a way to fix it?  what would die on it?

How would I fix corrupt firmware by myself?

I opened it up and looked at it for about 5 min and I saw the gba pins were a bit dirty so I scraped them off with a screw driver and it worked!  I dont know how they got dirty they were covered with black marks.

Anyways, in the future, don't use anything metal to clean the contacts. Use a qtip with alcohol or even a pencil eraser. Using something metal can damage the pins. Glad to see you got it working though.

I'm glad you solved the problem.

Just to answer your question . . .

You would use WiFiMe to run DF's FlashMP program.  WiFiMe allows you to run DS homebrew without using a SC.  FlashMP is a homebrew program that will restore SC SD/CF firmware.  After using FlashMP you could then upgrade to the latest SClite firmware.

Well I was just getting mad so I was trying everything and that worked but then I tried it again and it didnt so I just used rubbing alcohol to clean it.

If you brick your ds lite does any thing happen to the mini sd supercard???? By the way maybe its your ds lite. Did you use the mini sd on a ds lite or just a ds. Because your micro sd supecard lite didnt work either on the ds lite. Mini and mirco not working on the same day. :!: Or maybe it just me being weird?

I was wrong it wasnt the connections.  I dont realy know what it is but I know how to make it work.  the problem is, is the screw on the right of the supercard if I screw it in tight I get the error so I have to keep it loose.  if I push on the case on the right side I get the error.  so I dont know what is the problem.  the right side is the side without the battery

I did order 3 SD mini Sockets on ebay.  should I try replacing the old one?   I still dont know what the problem is :(
