i just downloaded the new patcher/firmware in the download section- 1.63/2.55.  i extracted the files in my folder.  my question is which is the file that i use to update the firmware??? is it upgrade.scu? please help.  also how do actually update the firmware??? thanks

Yes put that file in the "main" directory on you flash media and then start up your DS. Once you start up a screen will appear asking you to update. Select yes and you're good to go.

you put the upgrade.scu to update the firmware, then follow the on screen instructions to update, then after u have updated delete the file from ur card (cf, sd, mini or micro sd)
