SC and SC lite in Stock at kicktrading!

This afterenoon I just ordered my sc lite and they will match realhotstuff (no offense realhot) as they have 'em in stock! www.kicktrading.ca

You can't trust their inventory system as I know someone who placed an order with them yesterday and they said they were out of stock. Maybe they got some in today?

they had had the supercard sd backordered for quite a bit a couple weeks ago. i emailed kicktrading and got a reply saying they had it in stock they just hadn't updated the site. placed an order and got it in 3 business days. i'd recomend purchasing from them. my friend just placed and order two days ago when it was backordered and got an email today saying it was shipped.

Not to change the subject but I live in ohio and recieved my ordered stuff from realhot in 3 business days. The shipping address on my package from realhot is NJ. Anyone know where kicktrading ships from? I was concidering ordering from them before

I ordered an SC Lite from them last week and received it in about 5 days. If you are closer to them than I am (NV, USA), it won't take that long.

They ship from Ontario, Canada.

kicktrading is ok.. but they aren't always fast. i had one good experience with them, and one bad experience. it wasn't that bad, just that it took a couple of weeks to get from Canada to the U.S.A.

I had sent an email on late Wednesday nite when they would have SC in stock and were the sclite all reserved. Recieved an email thursday morning that they would be in stock on Friday and if I ordered would recieve one with this shipment.

I had good experience when I purchased my SC SD. I bought it, then it went on sale and the refunded the difference. Also they will match others online resellers. I think it took a full week to 9 -12 days to recieve my card but i am on the west coast.

But the key here is that the sclite cards are in stock!

Sometimes, living in Canada can be a real pain when ordering.
I was all ready to order my SC CF's and SC Lite from KT when I noticed that 14% tax was added on to my order. I know it's just their legal procedure to add tax, but I'll be damned if I help my country.

Yeah 14% tax is steep, thankfully they charge NO tax for US shipping!

hmm not to mention they add tax AFTER the shipping costs

$62.89 + (around) $10 = 72.89 + 15%
= around $84 (83.82)

not to mention the cost of micro SD cards

oh well it's all good

15%? Which province are you in? I was surprised to find that the GST has been lowered to 6% in Ontario.

Guess you haven't kept up with the news eh? It's been lowered for well over a month now. And not just in Ontario, since it's GST not PST, then it means nation wide.

Anyways I am in Ontario too and while it may be faster to order from a Canadian site, the price is way more expensive than RealHotStuff. The tax, the shipping is usually more or on par... so I'd rather just wait awhile longer and go with RHS.

Perhaps if they allowed local pick up I'd go with them.

Yeah, i didn't have that option to go "drive thru", but they matched realhotstuff so it is all good and realhotstuff are out of stock. To be honest we are only talking about 10 dollars US anyways for the price dif and 5%, but again they will refund the difference.

Just an FYI, after the order was processed they said to email them with the site that has the lower price etc, and include the order number and they would match the price. They credited back to the credit card no problem. They matched the 72.00 price and 5% off total order of realhotstuff.

Mediocre prices compared to RHS, especially since RHS won't charge you that hideous canadian tax. (assuming you're canadian like me)

I asked them to match RHS's total price including shipping, handling, tax, etc, so that I'd be paying an equal amount. The answer was "not a snowball's chance in hell" pretty much..

They said, "no, you could not possibly be paying such a low price including shipping" despite me showing them an itemized list of precisely how much everything would cost, so I replied with a copy of my paid RHS invoice for that amount and said "sorry you couldn't match their price"... Unfortunate, because I'd prefer to deal with a Canadian reseller.
