Hi.
   I'm having problems with my Supercard SD when using it with my Gameboy Advance SP.
   I've been using a Supercard CF for a while now & decided to upgrade to a SD Card.
   I've not encountered any problems with the CF Card but with the SD Card i'm pulling my hair out.
   When I install a game to the SD card it brings the menu up with the list of games, loads but is just a blank screen.
   I'm not very tecnically minded with all this but I read somewhere that you needed to turn of the ENABLE RESTART in the options menu of the Supercard SD program.
   Trouble is that when I try to turn the ENABLE RESTART off the ENABLE REAL TIME SAVE turns of as well.
    When I do this the game will load but then I can not save or load my game.
    Please can somebody help me & advise me please before it tips me over the edge.

Keep enable restart on, then the patcher will produce a save file as well.

Otherwise when the rom is in the list, double click it to get the individual options, here you need at least 'enable save' and 'save patcher' checked if you want the game to save using the QPC method. Note without the restart patch games can actually run slower as the pre fetch speed up patch (hidden in the software and not user selectable) is not used, so you might want to manaully prefetch patch any of you're outputted roms, if not using advanced options like the 'restart' patch.


best advice is go to the main options tab of the patcher programm and have a least 'save patcher' and 'enable restart' on, then you need to exit the patcher program and re-start it, now the patcher programme will produce the save file for you and you can save in game then press 'L+R+Select+A' to backup save to you're mem card.

Hi.
   I've tried your advice but the game still won't load on my SP. If I turn the SAVER PATCH & ENABLE RESTART off the game loads but I then can't save.
   I'm using Super Card V2.55C for SD Version if this is any help to what the problem is.

Okay, i'm using this game on my supercard sd, it's already patched so just unzip it and put it on your sd card to test your supercard. BTW, have you updated your kernel?

Hi.
   I've downloaded the game to test & I still can't get it to load. As I say i@m a novice when it comes to all this I don't even know what the Kernel is let alone updated it.
   How do I update it & with what. Your help is much appreciated thanks.

it's included in this file along with the latest patching software. The filename includes 1.36, can't miss it.
Just put the rom directly to your sd card, no using the patcher. Open it on your SP and choose yes instead of no.
