ok the story

black uk ds lite, probably first release as was baught on launch day

supercard sd and datel media launcher

flashme 7

the problem - all looks cool intill it asks for the sl1 bridge, at which point it will not start the % counter going up, as if the sl1 contact wasnt being bridged properly, which im preety dam sure it is

i flashed my original ds without any probs by bridgeing sl1, but no matter what i stick down to shourt it it just dosnt start

any offers of a solution? if needs be i be happy to open the thing and solder the connection lol

theres no need for me to patch the installer file with supercard software first is there?

There is no need to patch the installer file, just put it in the card and run it.  I also had this problem, solved by wiggling it around...  Just make sure ur careful.

I used the toothpick/foil/tape method and it works like a champ...but as said before, BE CAREFUL.

Yea, the percentage number doesn't start moving right away. I had to wiggle, twist, and turn my toothpick until it started working.

yeah, like zektor said, toohtpick with foil is the best solution and fastest.

I've used everything, nail, coathanger, stick, glob of metal, but toothpick worked the best!
