man i have waited forever for a fix for this. i searched the forums and havent seen anyone else complain about this. yet i have talked to people about this and they also have the problem. i guess everyone is just cool with it? the problem for those of you who dont know, is when using a SC CF NSMB freezes when u select MINIGAMES from the main menu. ive asked multiple people. they all had the same problem. there MUST have been some solution by now right? please let me know. thanks

What you are saying is that you cannot play minigames?? because i can play them.Just patch with the latest software

I've never had this problem with SC CF with Mario.  Use the latest software.

I confirm too, all minigames work for me using SCCF.

doesn't work for me either (minigames that is) on new patcher for ds supercard lite

will try a different rom

the U version is the one that doesn't work at the moment

buy any chance mancity and seam do you guys have standard cards. since when i use my standar sandisk mini games freeze in mario and tak of juju freezes at certain point of the game, but when using my ultra everything runs smoothly.

MY frezzes too. Im using micro sd and it does even go to mini games just a white  screens

well i ask, are you guys using standard cards. if yes then thers your problem for not getting an ultra II or atp which us even faster its 80x.

Using the USA version of NSMB with all the same options in the patcher:

SC Lite
Regular SanDisk 1GB MicroSD
Software v2.55 + Firmware v1.63

Minigames do not work (Black screen).

SC CF
Regular SanDisk 512GB CF
Software v2.55 + Firmware v1.63

Minigames work fine.

The microSD runs all other games at good speeds (except for animal crossing et al…) and I don't think the minigames is a data intensive app.  So, I'm thinking it must be a bug not a speed issue, unless the CF is much faster than the MicroSD, which I don’t think it is.

i just wanted to say thanks for the help. i got it to work. i simply updated my sc software like u guys suggested and it worked. thought id reply rather than never respond with results. heh. thanks again.

PS: how cool is ff3?!!! hehe cant wait for the US version.
