Whenever I close my DS lite and put it into sleep mode while playing a ROM, it always goes to sleep, then awakes, then sleeps until I open it again.

I know that I can put a game cartridge in which will stop it, but is there a way to stop this with out using an NDS game cartridge?

Sorry not currently, unless you count putting a nopass type device in there...
