everybody would have but i guess for the price your not exactly looking at top notch quality on everything.

Sanding will void the warranty. It is considered tampering with the product and so... voiding the warranty. If you want it to fit better, just sand the sides down with a nail file. Worked perfectly. Snug yet easy to get out.

Even without sanding... after a bit of pulling it in and out a few times, it gets a bit less snug and easier to remove. Your choice though.

I have also heard that you cannot use the DS Dust Cover. No way to fit the innards of the Supercard Lite in it... plus cutting a whole for the Micro Card is a real pain.

If you sand with 240 grit sandpaper, I dont think you can tell that it was sanded. How much are you taking off.

To PharaohsVizier, I would buy the sclite again in a heartbeat.

How often do you need to pull out the sclite anyways, as the microSD is in the front. I really don't have a need to at the moment. (If I want to play older gba games I play them in a gba sp, that is also where the xrom512 resides.)

In my daughters phat DS, the only time the SC SD comes out of it, is when I need to put something on the SD card.

Well that is true, I only have 1 other gba game, and now that I sold my precious EZ Flash 3, there is no other cart I really need to put in there.

One other thing, other than putting it in and out, there is one other thing I've heard about the SC Lite that I am worried about.  I'm worried about the Micro SD slot, I've heard that it is hard to take it out because it isn't spring loaded, is that true?  And also, I've heard that Micro SD cards fall out easily, and the solution for that is to stick a sheet of paper in it.  I already have a supercard and love it, the main reason I want the lite is to make it look good.  Sticking a sheet of paper into the sc lite defeats the purpose of getting one.  So, what do you guys think about this issue?

Right, one last thing, without the battery (from the Supercard Mini SD) does it change anything at all, other than you have to turn it on and off after u use passme 2, cuz i have it flashed.

no way its very easy to take out and stays in nicely.

yes, but not because the supercard lite is getting somehow smaller.  It is actually making your GBA slot bigger. not nice at all...

Are you sure that is the case? When I first started using my SCSD on my gba, it was a real tight fit too. But later it fitted like a glove. And when I bought the NDSL, it fitted  right away. So it appears that my SCSD was the one that shrunk.
Then again, the shell of the dsl is a lot softer than the gba's. And the SCL isn't quite the same as a SCSD.

My slot is still the same. Don't seen any difference when putting in other devices in that slot. I think the plastic shell on the SCL has compressed a bit. I think it is because the SCL uses a lower grade plastic than say the NDSL. It is thinner and much more plyable.

OK Guys... since I have a few of the Supercard Lites now, I decided to do a sanding experiment. I sanded the left and right sides, and the back. I first started using 320 grit and then finished it off with 600 grit. You cannot tell it was even sanded at all. Seems the 600 finish on it makes it nice and smooth... even more so than the original finish. Now my Supercard Lite goes in and out like butter. It is exactly now how the Supercard MiniSD model is. Pulls in and out very easy, but still stays locked in place. This is the way to go guys.

You can get the grit sandpaper at Home Depot or any hardware store I am sure. I would also suggest using a can of compressed air to blow out any sanding residue from the chips... just to be on the safe side.

Quote from: "sneef"xrom 512 rocks!  i have that too.. gave it to my brother though, along with a gba micro for his birthday.

Really?  X-Rom 512 was the first flash cart I ever bought, and I've had a lot of problems with it.  The first one they sent me had a defective battery and wouldn't hold save games.  They replaced that one (shipping at my expense), and the replacement worked alright for a while, but then started crashing frequently, and often won't even boot up.  I actually would like to give my X-Rom to my brother, but its really not even worth using.

By contrast, my EZFlash2 512 Mb cart has worked perfectly since day-1, and has seen a lot more use than my X-Rom.

So far, my new SC Lite card has worked beautifully for almost everything I've tried with it, so I'm pretty happy with Supercard products so far.

EZ Flash is great fro gba.  I think every single one of the EZ Flash devices are great.  They managed to put a lot of NDS support for something so old too...
