DSOrganize File renaming

I just installed DSOrganize on my SC Lite's MicroSD card in order to handle basic file system functions (copy/delete/rename/etc.)

It works, but it seems to take a ridiculously long time to rename a file (nearly 3 minutes).  Is this normal?  There has to be a faster way to rename files.

What version are you using? The new version 2.2F is said to rename instantly, however... has had problems working on the Supercard Lite. So if you wait for that to be fixed, so will your problem be fixed.

I'm using the prepatched version linked in this thread: http://scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5505

which should be 2.2  preview 2.

I did see the note about 2.2 final renaming instantaneously, but since that currently doesn't work on SCLite, it doesn't help me much for the moment.

Anyone know if renaming was faster in previous builds?  And if so, anyone know where I can find one of those older builds until someone works out a fix for 2.2 Final on SCLite?

No, renaming has always been slow. It doesn't actually rename, it makes a copy of the file with the new name.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

Actually, the latest DSOrganize really renames the file :)

Yeah, it renames instantly now. Much better than the older versions did.

Right, I was referring to versions before the latest one.

Well crap.  Guess I'll just have to wait then.
