With DS Lite. I got the SuperKey + SuperCard Lite bundle from redhotstuff.

No matter that type of combo, I only get SuperKey logo on top and white screen on the bottom.

Stuff I tried:

1) Put in both SuperCard + SuperKey + 1GB SanDisk microSD (FAT)

Logo top, bottom white screen.

2)  SuperKey only: tried test mode: L + R + power up

Logo top, bottom white screen.

3) Repeat 1 with the latest firmware UPGRADE.scu file.

Logo top, bottom white screen.

4) Repeat 1 with the latest moonshell ran/non-ran though the moonshell patch.

Logo top, bottom white screen.

Do I have a defective superkey? I can't even get it show anything other than the white screen at the bottom. No error like flash not found or even the diag mode L + R + power up doesn't work.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

are you sure you put your supercard in all the way? because it seems like your superkey works.

xing

Yes. It's all the way in. Same for the microsd card in the slot. If the SuperCard gets any more "in", my ds lite is going to give birth. =P But seriously, yeah, it's as in as I can physically push it in.

Remove the SuperKey. Does your Supercard work fine in GBA mode?

xing

Without the superkey I just get to the ds menu and it says I have no GBA pak inserted.

I'm new to the supercard stuff. On the fat 1g microsd card I have the latest UPGRADE.scu plus all the stuff/folder installed by monshell 1.4beta latest. I also copied over the _BOOT_MP_SC.nds file from the supercard firmware install package and also ran the moonshell patch program on the .nds file from moonsheel for the Supercard sdimicron version.

I also tried renaming the _BOOT_MP_SC.nds to just _BOOT_MP.nds and the same with the .nds file from moonshell.

Was I suppoed to rename the files to some general name for it to be read at boot?

The SuperCard is not being recognized. You must jiggle it around in the cart slot or keep putting it in and out. If it still doesn't work you have a faulty card and need a replacement.

Thanks for the help thus far guys.

I removed the tight-fitting, understatement, SuperCard DS Lite version out and back twice and this time it appear to work. After bootup I hit the yxab buttons and was able to upgrade the firmware from 1.62 to 1.63.

However, a new problem surfaced.

After the firmware upgrade, I boot up with L+R and hit A to start testing and got this:

Test SRAM
SRAM error:
01810........ (didn't want to type all out)
08880........
0f8f1090119155d5
CPLD to SRAM error
CPLD error

Test sdram
sdram error:
011919

Now SC version: 1.63 (to confirm I have the latest)

Do I have a defetive supercard or superkey based on thoes above errors?

In addition to the SRAM I get white screen or freezes when ever I tried to load patched or unpatched .nds files of any kind. Even gba roms don't work. I get the Gameboy logo and then it just freezes.

If its failing the SRAM test then I think its safe to assume that you supercard is snookered. :(
