Hi,  just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem or wether it has anything to do with flashing my ds at all!  I flashed it with flashme a couple of days ago and it was working fine until earlier today!  Now the touch screen has gone crazy.  It only works when it wants to. Nothing happens when I touch the screen most times!  Its worse when I try to play a game,  the screen basically doesnt work!  On the main ds menu,  it works a bit better but the calibration is all off when it does work!  For example, if I press to load a ds game it will read as if I pressed picto chat or gba game!  The flashing went fine, it went to %100 and all was fine!  If it is to do with flashme, should the file to undo the flashme fix it (I havent got the supercard to try it myself at the mo so thats why I ask)  I have a silver Jap ds that I got before they were released!  Any help or comments will be grateful!  Thanks in advance!

i dont think its becouse FLASHME .. i never seen thsi kind of problem before.. why dont you try to install the original firmware .. if it continue to fail .. iuts propably a hardware problem.

yeah I've never heard of flashme affecting the touchscreen for anyone else...

First thing I'd try is to recalibrate the screen. After that, if you still have problems, I'd try downgrading back to the original firmware (called noflashme) and see if you still have the problem. If you do indeed still have the problem, I suggest sending it to a qualified nintendo maintenance place.

Having similar problems, and did flash new firmware recently...

It works perfectly when I run normal DS games, and DS games through the supercard. But for ALL homebrew the screen sync/position is WAY out... Re calibrating does nothing as theh DS games work perfectly anyway, but it seems homebrew gets its calibration from elsewhere??? is it the supercard firmware gone bad?

there was a post about the homebrews not working well with the new flashme at gbadev.org

Thanks for the replies!  I managed to sort it out not long after I posted but was not able to get online till now!  Recalibrating didnt work at all for me!  In the end,  removing the battery and then putting it back on sorted it all out and I havent had a problem since!  All it meant was i had to redo the dates and name and stuff!  Thanks again! :D
