What's everyone playing?

So, you've got a 256MB CF card and ~50 games on it.  You've got to be playing at least one of them, right?

Recently I've been playing Super Army War (great game) and Donkey Kong Country 2.  DKC2 is quite hard (I never played the SNES version) and it has some Supercard slowdown.

Diablo

I alternate between Mario's Picross and Mario's Picross 2 (J) for Game Boy, and Golden Sun for Game Boy Advance.  It depends on if I want to watch TV while I'm playing.

I finished playing Tactic Ogre a week or two ago.  Went to play Fire Emblem, but I haven't quite felt like committing all the time and energy that's required to play it. :D

How do you deal with the slowdown in Metroid?

Ishan

Minish cap (RT save)
F-Zero (RT save)
SMBA 2 (with my own patch)

I finally decided to try FF1+2 again today...  Then I remembered the ridiculous amount of pointless random battles.  I'm gonna quit this game and probably play Minish Cap instead...

Ishan

i always thought all those battles kill the games in all FF.
I'm still dying for a FF6 gba remake

zarcon6

Zelda Minish Cap
Splinter Cell
Harvest Moon
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
and final fantasy 1+2 off and on
am the new way to go, I am the way of the future.

FF4 and FF6 were balanced just right.  The monsters were harder, but there were less of them so you could progress around the world faster and fight more important battles.  FF1+2 is the complete opposite.

airflow

mario & luigi superstar saga
dk king of swing :D

Patx1981

I´am playing : Mario Tennis (GBC), it ´s still the best portable Tennis game ever (from the "Golden Sun" Prog.Team).

Super Mario Bros 1 (NES)

Advance Wars

Prince of Tennis (Not a "Megagame" but i´am fan of the TV Show)

And: etc etc etc etc etc

biggreen

f-zero GP
Star wars - jedi power battle
breath of fire
grand theft auto advance
nhl hitz 03-04
Top gear rally
R-type III
Baldur's Gate dark alliance
Zelda's and metroid fusion (obviously)

I'll tell you what I'm not playing too. All of the lousy 3d Games that developers seem to think this machine can handle. I mean really with the exception of Top gear rally and Iridion, I have yet to play any decent 3D games. The frame rate I get in most of them is like 5fps. Here's a list of, IMO, terrible 3D attempts on this console.

Doom I,II
Wolfenstien 3D
Serious Sam
Medal of honor Underground
Star wars -flight of the falcon
Need for speed underground I,II

And when is Id gonna port Diablo 2 over? I mean really do i have to beg?

Diablo

I'd love to see Diablo II ported to any console (or, perhaps even better, see Diablo III released for PC :D).

I don't know about the other games you mentioned, but I downloaded and tried MoH: Underground simply because I had to see how it fared on the GBA (I had a feeling it wasn't worth the money to rent it, let alone buy it, so there's no way I was going to waste any money on the game until I play-tested it).  Needless to say, I deleted it less than 5 minutes later, abhorred at the quality of the release, and thankful for the Internet.  I pray that nobody bought that abomination.  >shivers<

On a side note:  I'm now adding Astro Boy into my rotation (which, IMO, is highly overrated, but to each his own).

Forget MOH Underground, everyone should play Medal of Honor:  Infiltrator.  It's a great, very underrated game.  It plays like an updated version of the NES Metal Gear before the series went lame (3D).

After getting frustrated with the totally unbalanced random battles in FFI+II, I am now playing Mario + Luigi instead and loving it...
