Gameboy Advance - not even starting?

Hello,

I recently bought a second hand copy of Metroid Fusion for 5 quid, and fell in love with it!

Now, though, I'm getting "lazy" - bought a Supercard Lite MicroSD and want to bung it on the memory card along with some other stuff so I don't have to keep popping it in and out whenever I want to play Metroid.

Problem is, it gets as far as the "Gamboy Advance - Nintendo" screen, then just loops some intro music badly and slowly with a white screen!

Hope I'm posting this in the right place, and I have searched, but have found nothing about it. Any help please? Tried patching it with the Supercard software but no joy.

Please help!

I only put this on recently, and it works fine for me. I always patch my gba games with 'enable save' and 'save patcher' on, the restart and realt time save I always disable. Then I drop the outputted rom onto pfpatch.exe (speed up), and use the QPC method for saving.
