There is a DS Option Pak inserted

Hi,

I got a problem with my... I don't know where the problem is from...

I have a Nintendo DS (first one, big one)

I got a Supercard with SD 256 Mb and Superpass (first one) bought on a recommanded site

I flashed the DS using Flashme 6 so that I don't have to insert the Superpass anymore

One day I saw that I couldn't insert a normal NDS game anymore, it was ejected immediatly (seems to be a NDS port problem?). But it wasn't a problem because I didn't use it anymore cause I was launching all on my SC SD

I applied the 1.63b FW from Supercard Site

And now here is the problem: When I start my Nintendo DS, it doesn't boot on Supercard SD but it boots on the normal screen of DS (Warning health and safety). I "touch the screen to continue" then it brings me to the main menu (with DS Card, PicToChat, DS Download Play, GBA, and Options)

So the problem is it doesn't boot anymore on SC SD

- When SC SD is inserted, it says: There is a DS Option Pak inserted
- When SC is inserted without SD, it says: There is no Game Pak inserted
- When I try with Superpass it doesn't work

Can you please help me fixing this problem and have it working normally?

Thx in advance

Well, for the port problem, looks like you broke the spring mechanism by pulling out that first Superpass. Second, try removing the SC, and cleaning the contacts. Try formatting the SD card, try again. It's obvious that the DS can no longer read the SC SD. Try a regular GBA game, if the DS reads that fine, it most definitely is the SC at fault.

Thx for the answer, I will try it

For the DS slot, I found an explaination and a way to fix it opening the Nintendo DS :-/

A regular GBA game works fine

How do I "clean the contacts"? The contacts of what? Must I open the Nintendo? Must I open the SC?

Use 91% alcohol dabbed on a Q-Tip, and rub it against the contacts on the Supercard (no need to open it). Make sure it is completely dry (use compressed air if possible) before you re-insert it into the DS. Hopefully that helps.

I cleaned the contacts of SC and SD but I have the same problem: doesn't boot on SC and "There is a DS Option Pak inserted"

What does he recognize as a "DS Option Pak"???
