In the global.ini look for this

; 1.1 StartPath = [//Path/to/folder] (Default = //AUTO)

; Defines folder to be displayed in FileBrowser after boot.
; Can be something like '//MPCF' (to start browsing directly from CF),
; or '//GBFS' (to start browsing directly from flashcart's GBFS).

; ‹N“®Žž‚̍...‰‚Ì'p'X‚ðŽw’肵‚Ü‚·B‘¶Ý‚µ‚È‚¢'p'X‚ÍŽw’肵‚È‚¢‚...‰º‚³‚¢B
; '//AUTO'‚ðŽw’è‚·‚邯ީ“®'Ÿo‚µ‚Ü‚·B

StartPath=//AUTO

***************
Now I have a folder for what I use moonshell for and it is Movies. So I have the following.

StartPath=//MPCF/Movies

I also have the movies folder hidden (only the folder not its contents or it will hide the movies as well) so my daughter doesn't mess with it when choosing a game. I also hide the shell folder as well.

You can do the same for whatever you use moonshell for as well.

You just have to have the //MPCF/(then whatever folder you want it to start with)

I actually have a question too, this might be a bit out of topic but related to the sc menu.  How do you make the sc arrange game alphabetically in the game list?  just wondering if it's possible. because it's kind of hard to find files/games once you have more than 100 roms in it  :lol:

Well, the only way to do this right now is to copy the contents of your memory card back onto your harddrive. Then, you put them back onto ur memory card. Kinda tedious but it only takes an extra couple minutes.

you should use fatsort see this post

Edit:  If you copy the file to your SC card and then right click and make it hidden, all you have to do each time you put files on the sc card is open and run it. It takes approx 1 sec to sort and you are good to go. Very easy to do and very effective!
