Is it possible to play snes or sega genesis games on ds, if not isthere anything in development. Also im having trouble playing PCE games which are supposed to be playable according to the supercard FAQ on GBATEMP.net
thanks in advance.

Lesse. SNES games are playable (well, some) using a Snezziboy or SNESDS. Genesis games are playable at almost full speed with no sound with PicodriveDS. PCE games are playable somewhat slowly with bad sound in PCEAdvance. These are probably the worst emulated systems for the console this far. But, do not despair, as this is some of what plays perfectly:

Gameboy
Game Gear
Sega Master System
Sega SG1000
MSX
ZX-Spectrum
NES

There are some more, but these come to mind. These are all GBA emulators (ie: emulators FOR GBA) and they run great. Actually, for NES, there is a DS emulator entitled "nesDS" that works awesomely too. There just is not a whole lot of DS exclusive emulation going on just yet...but I'm sure it will pick up eventually. But, even still, the DS is not a CPU powerhouse....so I would not expect insane emulation coming out of it ever really. But it does have the best handheld games on the market, so it's all good!

Nintendo Wii - cIOS38 Revision 12 (and more)

Just give me full speed SNES with no sound and I'm happy, I really hope development of emulators exclusively for the DS hardware will pick up, I'm not too technical but it seems to me that emulators could benefit greatly from the dual processors on the DS (ARM7 and ARM9) for instance ARM9 could handle graphics while ARM7 handles sound

i have the supercard lite, it has nes, gb, gbc, gba, sms, sgg emulation built into the firmware from what i understand, supposedly pce as well, but that one doesnt run. Anyway, so are you saying Genesis does run? If i install that pico emulator the games willrun with full speed, but no sound? I really appreciate the help. thanks
