Question re: What to buy for my DS lite

Hi, I already have a DS Phat with a SC SD, and used the original superpass to flash it. I recently bought a DS lite with a view to buying a scl black when they are widely available. The question i want to ask is what pass device should i buy? I understand i could buy the datel max media launcher and be able to use my scl without flashing, but to be honest i would rather flash the unit and have done with it. So can you flash a ds lite using the max media launcher, or will i require a different pass device, and if so which one would you guys recommend?

Max Media Launcher doesn't work as well as SuperKey because it doesn't support the sleep feature on 98% of the DS games.

Ummm, if you plan to flash it, I would buy something cheap. The passme 2-z was so damn cheap when I bought it.

buy a superpass 2, flash and then sell it or rent it out for people to flash. at least u get a but of cash back in your pocket. (i'd prefer to use the superkey, keeps my warranty intact since i'm going thru some hinges

Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated. One more question i guess, superpass 2 sounds fine to me but i have also seen something called Pass we 3 adapter, was wondering if anyone had had any experience with this? It's made by the Ewin card team (who i've never seen any mention of other than on the site im looking at to buy my items [www.consoleplus.co.uk] if anyone wants to take a look).

[Edit] Just noticed the superkey as well, looks like that will be fine for what im needing, hadn't spotted it before i guess >.> think i'll order it

I bought a superkey for my lite to keep it unflashed for the time being in case it breaks. I have returned my dslite to Target after 14 days the right button quit working.

Heh i work for, and bought my ds from a large UK games company, so should i have any sort of technical problem it wont matter, since i can get a replacement myself. Also i think its fair to point out that if i bricked it most shops wouldn't know what that is anyway, as far as most people would be concerned it's just faulty. No shop is gonna open the ds battery pack and notice you've pulled that sticker off, unless you get served by some sort of hardcore loser lol

LIES! It works fine for me. Furthermore, you can flash it with the MML, it's just as easy as a superkey.

its not technically a LIE the older versions of the mml did not support sleepmode but the newer ones do
