Flashme v7 for NDS Lite (problems with brightness)

Hey everyone,

I recently flashed my DS Lite, everything works fine except that my screen brightness no longer works (it only changes from a medium brightness to off completely). It seems to be a fairly common problem and can be fixed (hope this helps out with some people having the same problem).

The reason for this problem is that I used the version of Flashme v7 for the original NDS (269KB), what I need is the version that is designed specifically for the DS Lite (526KB). Apparently its fine just to reflash over the old firmware using the DS Lite version.

The original DS version of flashme v7 is pretty easy to find however I've searched the internet for hours looking for a working download of this DS Lite version with no luck.

Does anyone know of any working links for this file or if they have a copy could someone e-mail it to me? It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Nick

This was just posted on another board. Good link, it works perfectly.

Can someone put a link for FlashMe Ver.6 for me please? I only have DS.

Nomal or "Phat" DS users can use V7, it has support for both types

any chance they've figured out the sleep mode problem without having to have an original ds game or passme device in the ds slot? just wondering, haven't heard any news what so ever about flashme in a while

is it my DS Lite having problems or are both of these flashme the same thing??
My friend wanted the Health Screen so I flash the stealth.nds, no health screen. Same thing flashing with the normal one, still no Health Screen.

you're only going to get the health screen when there isn't any flash cart in the gba slot or you hold select when you power on the ds to bypass flashme, have you tried that to see yet?

Well, I've flashed mine (which went fine) and I haven't experienced any of your problems (brightness, etc.).
I used my friends version of flashme, which was downed waaaay before the DSlite was released.

flashme 7 has a beta version floating around where it doesnt have the light adjustment (i used that one at first but then gbatemp had a link to the official page and i got the good one with the light adjust.

you will never get the health screen when there's a flashcart in the ds, try booting it up without anything inside. it should show, if not then find another download of the flashme files and try flashing again
